Mitigation Technician

About the role

As a Mitigation Technician at Total Restoration, you’ll work hands-on with our team to help homeowners and businesses recover following water, fire, mold, and other property damage. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in quality work, and brings a positive attitude to every job. Responsibilities Include: - Water extraction - Sewage and contaminated water cleanup - Demolition of drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinetry, and other building materials - Setup and breakdown of commercial drying equipment - Fire, smoke, and soot cleanig - Mold remediation and containment - Contents packing, moving, inventory, and packouts - Job-site preparation, containment, and protection - Proper use of PPE and adherence to company safety procedures - Maintaining clean, organized job sites, vehicles, and equipment - Providing professional and respectful service in customers' homes and businesses - Working closely with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to complete projects safely and efficiently

Skills & requirements

• familiarity with building materials and demolition work
• Reliable and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
• Willing to work in confined or challenging environments
• Available for rotating on-call emergency shifts
• Work great as part of a team and utilize strong communication
